Canada Only - Virtual Quality Improvement for the Fire and Emergency Services Workshop

 

This course will be presented LIVE virtually over eight separate days, each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (no live session Monday, October 11). Each presentation will be scheduled for 2 hours in duration and cover all the information necessary for an agency to be successful in starting their path towards accredited status. This virtual course is for residents of Canada only. 

 

All presentations will start at 1100 hours Eastern each day and attendance is required.

  • The steps in the self-assessment process, from building a team to becoming an accredited agency
  • The six building blocks of the accreditation process:

    5. Strategic Plan
    6. Self-Assessment

*The copy of the Quality Improvement for the Fire and Emergency Services (10th Edition) will be mailed to you. The book will be mailed after the class starts. When you register, you will be asked for a shipping address. 

 

To receive a certificate of completion, students are required to attend all sessions, complete all quizzes, and complete the survey.

 

All registration cancellation and refund requests must be submitted via email to university@cpse.org no later than one week prior to the start of the class. A refund request is subject to a $25 processing fee. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. A substitution of your full registration is permitted up to three days prior to the start of the class. After this time, NO substitutions are allowed. Requests for substitution must be submitted via email to university@cpse.org. CPSE regrets that refunds will not be given for failure to participate in any of the sessions.
